Overview
If you use Order Penguin (the equipment rental platform from the team behind QNOPY), you may have seen the option to purchase a short-term QNOPY Subscription Pass.
These passes give you access to QNOPY, even if you don't have a long-term agreement in place. Once you purchase a pass from Order Penguin, you will receive an email with your subscription code. You can use this code to redeem your pass on QNOPY.
Redeeming Subscriptions
Once you purchase a subscription pass, you will receive an email containing:
- Your subscription code
- A sign-in link
- Your subscription quantity (the number of user accounts you can use the pass to unlock)
- Your subscription end date
First, confirm that your subscription quantity and end date match what you requested on Order Penguin.
Next, follow the link to the QNOPY sign-in page. There, you will see an option to “Redeem Order Penguin Code”. After clicking this option, you will be prompted to enter your email address (use the same email with which you signed up for Order Penguin) and your subscription code. When you hit Submit, a QNOPY account will be created for you using your Order Penguin details and credentials. (If you created a QNOPY account during a previous subscription period, a new account will not be created; however, your existing account will be unlocked and updated with the details of your new subscription.) You will have unlimited access to QNOPY for the duration of your pass.
Finally, if you purchased multiple subscription passes, send the subscription code to any teammates to whom you want to give QNOPY access. They too will use the QNOPY sign-in link to enter their email and subscription code. If they have an existing QNOPY or Order Penguin account, their account will be updated to reflect their new subscription. If they don’t have an existing QNOPY or Order Penguin account, they will be prompted to enter the user details needed to set up an account.
Pass Expiration
As you near your subscription end date, if you think you’ll need more time on QNOPY, you should extend your pass on Order Penguin. Any changes to the pass duration will be reflected in your final invoice.
Once you reach the end date of your QNOPY subscription, you will no longer be able to use the QNOPY Mobile App or Web Portal. However, you will automatically be sent an export of your data at the time of pass expiration, and you will be able to request additional exports for up to two weeks.
If you need further access to QNOPY, you will need to purchase additional subscription passes.
